Umi no Kaze
Originally written in 2003
This was the result of a small assignment for music class concerning chord progressions. Of course like I usually do, I completely ignored all the chord progression stuff my teacher told me and wrote on instinct. At the moment, I seem to have lost the music for this, but I'm planning to rewrite it anyway and make it into a full song rather than the 12 bar composition that it was originally. This is a full piano piece.

Innocent Spies
Written in 2004
A 16-ish bar jazz composition written for music class. I lost the music for this too, but I have the midi recording I recorded for my friend to hear. This was composed for a typical jazz band with a bass guitar.
Kind of quirky sounding and dancable. :)

The Bells [temporary title]
Unfinished (Started June 2006)
A piece I started for my Poetry assignment for Grade 12 Writer's Craft. This is a piano piece I wrote based on Edgar Allan Poe's "The Bells". Currently, I only have the draft for Part I finished, but I plan to finish the rest of it. It also has small influences from Franz Liszt's "La Campanella" (the bell sound) but obviously, I'm nowhere as good as a composer as he is, so my piece is relatively simple.

[Title in the works]
Unfinished (Started Summer 2005)
This is my first full song with lyrics. I'm not really used to writing lyrics for songs, so it's new to me. This was written after a certain heartbreak I experienced earlier that year that I never really got over at that time. It was mainly something I scribbled down in my agenda and never finished until months later. I'm currently writing the piano accompaniment for this song.

Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies
December 2005
Again, this was for a school project which I did with friends. The arrangement of the Tchaikovsky piece was done mainly by my friend Michelle and myself. This arrangement is for Flute, Clarinet in B flat, Alto Sax and Bells.

Eulalia's Harp was created in March 2006 by Megumi. All personal content belongs to her.
